Planetario di Venezia Lido (Planetarium Lido Venice), Venice

The Lungomare D'Annunzio Park houses the third-largest planetarium in Italy, following those in Milan and Modena, and is one of the few still operational in the country. Inside its impressive dome, which stands over eight meters tall, visitors can enjoy breathtaking 360° views of Venice and the celestial expanse.

Between October 1st and May 31st, the planetarium hosts free conferences on celestial and environmental themes. These enlightening talks are often enhanced by the stunning projection of the night sky visible from the lagoon, allowing attendees to relax comfortably in slightly reclined armchairs.
