Soho Rooms, Moscow

Soho Rooms is a restaurant and entertainment complex established in 2007. The original project combined dining, bars, a nightclub, live performances, private events, and a seasonal pool terrace, and it became closely associated with the luxury-oriented nightlife culture of the late 2000s and 2010s. Contemporary accounts also describe a selective entrance policy and a clientele that included business figures, celebrities, and international guests.

The original complex included several distinct spaces, among them a restaurant, bar areas, a nightclub with a dance floor and stage, lounge areas, and a terrace overlooking the river. A rooftop swimming pool became one of its most recognizable features. After a major reconstruction in 2017-2018, the complex was redesigned with a retractable glass dome over the terrace, an open kitchen, and a large event hall, while retaining the pool terrace as part of the venue. Music and entertainment remain part of the Soho Rooms concept, with DJ performances, concerts, private parties, fashion events, and other large functions forming part of its history and current programming. The restaurant side now emphasizes European and pan-Asian cuisine, while the event spaces are used for banquets, concerts, celebrations, and corporate functions.

Although the nightclub component closed in April 2017, Soho Rooms itself should not be described as a permanently closed attraction. The property was subsequently reconstructed and continues to operate as a restaurant, banquet, and entertainment complex, including Soho Event Hall and the covered terrace.
