Terrace Gallery, Orlando

Terrace Gallery, Orlando

Opened in 1992, the City Hall Terrace Gallery showcases a variety of art pieces from both national and international artists, often highlighting the work of Florida's own artists. The gallery is designed with flexible walls, allowing for the dynamic arrangement of each exhibition. This adaptability is showcased in a spacious 2,000 square foot area, equipped with movable walls to suit various exhibition styles. The Terrace Gallery is a testament to the City's commitment to the arts, offering a platform for visual artists to engage with the local community.

This gallery is part of the National Arts Program, a nationwide initiative that promotes artistic talent among public sector employees. Orlando City Hall Terrace Gallery joins a long list of cities participating in this program. The artworks displayed cover a wide range of skill levels and mediums. City Artworks, a part of this initiative, aims to motivate and appreciate the artistic side of city workers, while building a sense of community among them. Visitors can explore the gallery on weekdays from 8 am to 9 pm, and on weekends from noon to 5 pm.
