Crown Melbourne, also known as Crown Casino and Entertainment Complex, is a resort and casino situated on the southern bank of the Yarra River in Melbourne. It operates as a subsidiary of Crown Resorts and was the pioneer establishment under the globally recognized Crown brand.

Originally established in 1994 on the northern bank of the Yarra River, Crown Melbourne underwent relocation and reopening in 1997 on the southern bank of the same river. The entire facility spans a vast area of 510,000 square meters, equivalent to the size of two city blocks, making it the largest casino complex in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the largest worldwide. Furthermore, the complex boasts three hotels: Crown Towers, Crown Promenade, and Crown Metropol.

Visitors can enjoy numerous amenities such as nightclubs, restaurants, and "Kingpin" (formerly known as Galactic Circus), which features an electronic games arcade, laser tag, and a bowling alley. Additionally, the complex houses a variety of luxury brand shops.

The Palladium at Crown serves as a grand ballroom with seating for up to 1,500 guests. It has been the venue for various prestigious events in Australia, including the annual Logie Awards, Brownlow Medal ceremony, Melbourne Victory Player of the Year Medal presentation, Allan Border Medal ceremony, the Australian Formula One Grand Prix ball, and the Melbourne Press Club Quill award recognizing excellence in journalism.

Tip:
There's a fire show outside every 30 mins in the evenings along the promenade.
