Cyber Gateway, Hyderabad

Cyber Gateway is a major office landmark within the technology district and was developed as Phase II of HITEC City after Cyber Towers. Its gateway-like entrance gives the complex its name and marks it as one of the early symbols of the area’s shift from rocky outskirts into a planned business zone. The wider development was influenced by smart-infrastructure ideas seen in Southeast Asia, especially Singapore and Malaysia’s Multimedia Super Corridor.

The building became an early base for major global technology and services companies before many of them moved into larger independent campuses. Firms such as Microsoft, Google, General Electric, Dell, Oracle, and Deloitte are associated with the area’s early corporate growth. Cyber Gateway was also built for the BPO and IT-enabled services boom, with infrastructure designed to support continuous operations, high-speed connectivity, and reliable power.

For tourists, Cyber Gateway is mainly viewed from the outside as part of the modern business landscape. Its glass façade, broad entrance, landscaped areas, and corporate scale help explain the rise of the technology economy in this part of the region. Once dependent on company shuttles and private transport, the area is now better connected by modern transit, making it easier to visit while exploring nearby malls, cafés, hotels, and office parks.
