Cyber Towers, Hyderabad

Cyber Towers, Hyderabad

Cyber Towers helped launch the region’s technology economy. Built in a once rocky and underdeveloped area, it encouraged rapid business growth and became closely linked with the rise of “Cyberabad.” In 1997, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu promoted this vision during meetings with international business leaders, including Microsoft’s Bill Gates, helping position the area as a serious technology destination.

The building was designed as a modern office complex for software and service companies. Its layout includes four large office quadrants arranged around a central plaza, with a fountain area at the core. For its time, Cyber Towers had advanced systems for power, lifts, backup supply, and data cabling, helping technology firms and service offices start work quickly.

Today, Cyber Towers remains a major reference point for the technology corridor, even though newer and taller commercial buildings now surround it. It remains a working office complex, so visitors usually see it from outside. Its value lies in its role as an early landmark of the region’s IT growth, surrounded today by offices, hotels, restaurants, malls, and transit links.
