El Trompo Museo Interactivo (El Trompo Interactive Museum), Tijuana

El Trompo Interactive Museum is a hands-on children's museum dedicated to science and technology. Opened on December 9, 2008, and designed by architect Francisco López Guerra, it features four levels housing a 3D movie theater, an auditorium, and various exhibition rooms. The museum focuses on promoting science, technology, and art within the community, particularly for children and young people.

With over 3 million visitors since its inception, El Trompo emphasizes experiential learning through its six interactive rooms: Integrate, Explain, Experience, Generate, Educate, and Value. Each year, it introduces new temporary exhibitions and recently added a planetarium to its offerings. The museum aims to make science accessible and engaging, helping young visitors understand and incorporate scientific concepts into their daily lives. Through various educational programs, including science workshops, children's robotics, computer programming, and art workshops, El Trompo supports comprehensive learning and development.
