Islamabad Stock Exchange Tower, Islamabad

Islamabad Stock Exchange Tower, Islamabad

Islamabad Stock Exchange Tower is a modern commercial high-rise linked to Pakistan’s financial and corporate life. The 22-story tower rises about 250 feet, with 19 floors above ground. Its asymmetrical twin-tower shape, blue glass, gray frame, and three large basement parking levels define its modern business profile.

The tower is closely connected with the modernization of stock trading in Pakistan. When it opened in 2009, it was built without a traditional trading floor because exchange operations were fully automated. The building used about 5,000 fiber-optic lines for automated trading. Its facade had a large stock-market display, while a bronze bull near the entrance symbolized market growth and confidence.

Although tourists usually view the building from outside, it offers a useful look at the capital’s corporate side. The tower has housed aviation and energy offices, including Airblue, Etihad Airways, Air China, and OMV Pakistan. Upper floors offer views of the Margalla Hills, Ufone Tower, and The Centaurus Mall, linking business, architecture, and the city’s modern skyline.
