The Jerusalem Botanical Gardens, established in 1985 and spanning 45 acres, offer a captivating exploration of plant life from around the world against the backdrop of a charming lake.
With over 6,000 taxa on display, the gardens contain the largest plant collection in Israel and the Middle East. Divided into sections representing various geographical regions, visitors can discover a diverse array of plant species, including geophytes, oaks, and bonsai trees. In addition, the gardens offer a haven for birdwatchers, with 46 species of birds identified as regular visitors throughout the year.
