Magical Midway, Orlando
Located on International Drive, the Magical Midway is an amusement park that takes park rides to the extreme. There are also many traditional attractions as well. Two popular rides are the Sling Slot and the Starflyer. The Sling Shot shoots participants 180 feet into the air, while the Starflyer takes riders to the top of a 230-foot cylinder where they are spun at 54 miles per hour. The park also has shooting games, ski ball, bumper car rides, guitar hero, and basketball for the more sedate patrons. The elevated go-cart trails are a must-do if you visit the park.
Other rides and tracks include Character Art, Hair Braiding, Carousel, Jumping Castle, Bungee Trampolines, Space Shot, Bumper Boats, and Bumper Cars. Admission and parking are free, but there are height and age restrictions for those who drive and ride in the go-carts. Three packages are available for groups and birthday parties and coupons and promotions are offered frequently.
The nearby eatery features New York style pizza, ice cream, and other tasty refreshments.
