WonderWorks, Orlando

WonderWorks, Orlando

WonderWorks is an amusement park that is truly a work of wonder. This upside-down amusement park takes learning about science to a whole new level. Some of the neat things you can do at the center include building your own roller coaster, making a 3D impression of your body, virtually swimming with the sharks, or experiencing 65 miles per hour hurricane force winds, or a 5.3-degree earthquake. For those who wish to tickle their funny bone, a visit to the Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show is recommended. Tours of WonderWorks is also available for groups of 15 or more.

The local gift shop sells an array of souvenir paraphernalia and will even ship the merchandise to you. The local café sells New York style pizza, popcorn, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, salads, pretzels, and other tasty treats.

Tip:
Open until midnight, so go late to avoid crowds/kids. Make sure you wear pants (no skirts or dresses) and athletic shoes.
Also, try to not bring in many items that need to be carried – your hands will need to be free to enjoy all the activities!
