La Moneda Palace Cultural Center (Centro Cultural Palacio de La Moneda) is a vibrant cultural establishment situated in Santiago. Nestled beneath the Citizenry Square and gracing the southern facade of the La Moneda Palace (Palacio de La Moneda), its primary purpose is to position the Chilean capital within the global cultural landscape. This center serves as a gateway for all citizens, providing participative and educational access to the nation's rich cultural and audiovisual heritage.

Designed by the talented Chilean architect, Cristián Undurraga, the construction of this remarkable facility took place from November 2004 to January 2006. Spanning an impressive area of 7,200 square meters, it boasts two main exhibition halls, each covering 620 square meters. Additionally, the center accommodates several smaller exhibition halls, such as the "Arts Documentation Center," which houses a wealth of information and resources pertaining to modern and contemporary art. The esteemed "National Film Archive," known as Cineteca Nacional, is also housed within these walls.

Beyond the captivating exhibitions, the museum caters to various interests and needs. It includes a state-of-the-art Digital Laboratory, dedicated to film restoration and digitalization. Visitors can take advantage of the inviting restaurants, a cozy café, and a boutique-style shop. Furthermore, an intriguing art and technology exhibition room is waiting to be explored.
