The Shrine of Meher Ali Shah, a renowned Sufi shrine was established in the 1900s. It is the final resting place of the famous Sufi scholar Peer Meher Ali Shah of the Chisti order.

Peer Meher Ali Shah was known not only for his spiritual teachings but also for leading the anti-Ahmadiya movement. After his death, the shrine became a popular destination for those seeking blessings and spiritual guidance. Currently, the shrine is jointly managed by the heirs of Peer Syed Shah Abdul Haq Gilani and Syed Ghulam Moinuddin Gilani.

Peer Syed Shah Abdul Haq Gilani notably served as the shrine's caretaker, or Sajjada Nashin, for an impressive 46 years until his death in July 2020.
