Skyper, Frankfurt

Skyper, Frankfurt

Skyper is a complex of buildings nestled in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel district in Germany. The tallest of the trio is a 38-story skyscraper, soaring to a height of 154 meters (505 feet). Its unique, quadrant-shaped silhouette stands out as an integral part of Frankfurt's urban landscape. Situated just a street away from the Silver Tower, this skyscraper took the place of the former Philipp Holzmann building, and the estimated construction expenses amounted to a substantial 425 million dollars. This architectural marvel was finalized in 2004 and is connected to a neo-classical villa from 1915 by a 9-meter (30-foot) glass atrium. Notably, the villa holds historical significance and was once the property of the Philipp Holzmann construction group, serving as their corporate headquarters.

Adding to the charm of the complex is a residential and commercial building featuring 52 apartments ranging from one to three rooms, along with ground-floor retail spaces. Since 2006, Skyper has been under the ownership of an investment company affiliated with the Swiss banking group UBS.
