Temporary Art Centre, Eindhoven

The Temporary Art Centre (TAC) is a dynamic cultural hub in Eindhoven, dedicated to fostering artistic innovation and experimentation. Functioning as a breeding ground for emerging talent, TAC provides over 80 studios for more than 100 young designers, artists, and musicians, offering them a space to create, collaborate, and present their work to the public.

Spanning 2,000 square meters, the center encompasses exhibition halls, workshops, a lounge, and a music studio with a stage, making it one of Eindhoven’s most diverse artistic venues. Its program is filled with a wide range of artistic disciplines-from digital art to acoustic music, and local design to interactive performances-making it a place where artists and audiences intersect. Visitors can attend exhibitions, performances, and cultural events or simply enjoy the creative atmosphere at TAC’s café.

Despite its name, TAC’s role in Eindhoven’s cultural landscape is far from temporary. Over the past seventeen years, it has become a permanent fixture in the city’s artistic ecosystem, providing a springboard for young creators while maintaining a strong connection with the local community. Currently, TAC is undergoing a major renovation to make its space more sustainable and future-proof. During this period, its activities continue across various temporary locations throughout the city, ensuring that its vibrant programming remains accessible.
