We hate traveling fast. Nothing has ever spoiled our holidays more than rushing through places. Surprisingly, Piran turned out to be one of those cities which chamrs you in no time (yet, we still wish we had more time)!

Recently, we had an afternoon to spend there and although a day is most certainly not enough to see it, we’ll take you around the treasures we found. If you (like us) only have several hours, this might help.

We started by leaving the car at the beginning of the city – it was the Harley Davidson expo day in Piran and Portoroz, and there was no room for cars on the streets of the city. According to my memories, the parking charges 1 euro per hour.

Our first stop was lunch. We were starving and happened to spot a restaurant from a favorite chain – Sarajevo ’84. This place has not disappointed us once: the “cevapcici” you see in this picture are absolutely delicious!

I keep thinking I should go back to Piran with some paper and my pencils. The place is incredibly pretty, and a walk along the marina and the coastal line is a must-do! ...... (follow the instructions below for accessing the rest of this article).
