Bukit Bintang Shopping Walk, Kuala Lumpur

Bukit Bintang Shopping Walk (Self Guided), Kuala Lumpur

In a city known as an international shopping haven, the Bukit Bintang district stands out for having some of the trendiest shops and tallest buildings and for being a pulsating epicenter of fun for 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are hundreds of stores and old and brand spanking new shopping malls. And whether you are a big spender or just have a few dollars in your pocket, every budget is catered for. The place is teeming with life and activity at all hours and among the prime shopping destinations are Lot 10, one of the city’s oldest malls and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, a temple of haute couture.

Make a point of touring Tong Shin Road, one of the trendiest destinations in Kuala Lumpur. Here you will find Starhill Gallery, a glitzy upmarket mall. Many people come here just for the themed Flintstones toilets. Washing your hands involves pumping water out of a well!

As you amble through the district, point your eyes skyward to take in some incredibly tall structures. Among them is Berjaya Times Square, one of the city's tallest buildings. Spread across several of its floors is an indoor theme park, the largest of its kind in Malaysia. If you're looking for some nighttime fun, come back to the Bukit Bintang district for its bars, nightclubs and delicious street food.
