One Archives Gallery and Museum, Los Angeles

The ONE National Gay and Lesbian Archives, located within the University of Southern California Libraries, holds the distinction of being the oldest LGBT organization in the United States and one of the largest repositories of LGBT-related materials worldwide. Situated in Los Angeles, ONE Archives has been affiliated with the University of Southern California Libraries since 2010. Its extensive collections encompass over two million items, including periodicals, books, film and video recordings, audio recordings, photographs, artworks, ephemera (such as clothing, costumes, and buttons), organizational records, and personal papers. Additionally, ONE Archives maintains a modest gallery and museum space dedicated to LGBT art and history in West Hollywood. Access to these collections is free during regular business hours.

The gallery is situated in a building owned by the city, which also houses the June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives. The exhibition featured works by various artists, including Steven F. Arnold, Don Bachardy, Claire Falkenstein, Anthony Friedkin, Rudi Gernreich, Sister Corita Kent, and Kate Millett, among others. This exhibition was unique within the PST initiative as it was the only one dedicated to queer content. It showcased the most extensive collection of materials from the ONE Archives to date and was accompanied by an academic catalog.

The ONE Gallery has hosted individual exhibitions of artwork by Steven F. Arnold and Joey Terrill, as well as exhibitions featuring historical materials from the ONE Archives' collections. Additionally, it has showcased highlights from the collections of the Tom of Finland Foundation and the Center for the Study of Political Graphics.
