Named in honor of Orson Hyde, a prominent member of the Mormon Church who journeyed to the Holy Land in the late 19th century, the park provides a serene contrast to the bustling tourist activity at nearby Gethsemane, just a few hundred feet away. With its native plants, winding stone walkways, and ample benches and quiet areas for prayer and contemplation, it's an ideal destination for a peaceful daytime visit.
