Roots Canada, Montreal

Roots Canada, Montreal

Everybody recognizes the iconic beaver! Founded in 1973, Roots Canada successfully mixes the concepts of both alpine and urban lifestyles, and has known a growing popularity worldwide since then, with almost 200 stores - but not one is better than the Montreal branch, located on Sainte-Catherine Street West, right in the heart of the shopping district.

Decorated with large wooden beams and floors, forest green painting, paired with a compulsory Canadian smile and an overall feel-good vibe, the store offers a large range of items like apparel, leather bags, small leather goods, footwear, active athletic wear, and home furnishings. Roots Canada products have a reputation of lasting throughout the years, thanks the quality fabrics and sturdy built, which helps justify the expense. Pretty much all Canadians have owned a Roots item at one point in their lifetime! Such pretty Montreal souvenirs will make you want to wear them all the time - talk about something that won’t be covered in dust on your fireplace mantel!

The store opens from 10 am to 7 pm from Monday to Wednesday, from 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday and Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday, and from 10 am - 5 pm on Sunday.
