San Sebastian Winery was founded in 1996 by Charles Cox,. Located just a few blocks from the heart of historic downtown St. Augustine, the winery is situated in one of Henry Flagler's old East Coast Railway buildings, giving it a rich history and a unique atmosphere.
Visitors to San Sebastian Winery can enjoy complimentary self-guided tours and wine tastings seven days a week (excluding major holidays). The tour includes a selection of San Sebastian wines to taste along the way and an informative audio-visual presentation in the winery's upstairs theater. Visitors can learn about the art of winemaking, from the selection of grapes to the features of the winery's 5,000-gallon stainless steel tanks where the wines are fermented and stored prior to bottling.
