A 20-hour long journey, about 9000 miles away from home. Finally, our plane landed at Seattle-Tacoma Airport. The husband and I are very excited with this visit. It is his first time in the US, my second. We’re going to meet our very good friends back in Singapore – Chris and Tina. They had migrated in Canada about 3 years now.

We decided to meet up in Seattle since my husband has a conference for a week. Seattle is the largest city in the state of Washington and is surrounded by water, mountains and forests.

Contrary to what I thought of first as a ‘Boeing Museum’, The Museum of Flight is a private non-profit air and space museum in the city of Tukwila, just south of Seattle. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary since it was established in 1965.

You will find heaps of interesting facts about aviation – the history and the people involved. Be amazed how aviation has evolved throughout the years.
