The Argentine capital is often snubbed by tourists, but the list of what to see in Buenos Aires is definitely long. First of all, Buenos Aires is huge: to give you a practical example, from Palermo to Boca takes at least half an hour by Uber or cab…and these are two of the most touristy areas of the city!
The two most important airports in Buenos Aires are Ezeiza and Aeroparque: the former is generally used for long-haul flights, the latter for domestic flightsIf you land or take off from Aeroparque, I strongly recommend you choose a window seat, as the view of the city is wonderful: also, if you are a soccer lover you can watch from above the River Plate’s Monumental stadium, which is literally a stone’s throw from Aeroparque Newbery, located next to the Rio de la Plata.

This square has, first and foremost, historical value: the mothers of the desaparecidos, that is, the boys who in the late 1970s were kidnapped, tortured, and killed by Videla’s regime, have been meeting here since 1977, every Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., to remember what happened. ......
