1) Mokah Coffee & Tea
Coffee shop aficionados will love this place! When it comes to a little comfort, great drinks, good people watching and good background music, one cannot ask for more. The intimate and cozy design scheme is that of a 15th century monastery basement with dark woods and leathers giving it a warm and cozy feel. There are so many different lounging options, too – from various table seating to couches, plus the covered patio to sit out when the weather is nice. It's mostly a funky place that puts people at ease and creates an environment conducive to bridge building, common ground and open communication. Occasionally it can host live music in the evening.

2) Adair's Saloon
This place is a saloon country bar for sure, but an awesome one nonetheless. People of all walks of life come here for good drinks and fantastic old-fashioned burgers, which are some of the best in all of downtown/Deep Ellum. The interior is typical for a dive bar: dark, with some neon signs, vintage posters/signage, a stage, and very cool classic country music from the jukebox. One of the stranger, more unexpected trademarks is the graffiti/handwriting on the walls, but don't let that throw you off; instead, ask for permanent markers to leave your mark on... well, whatever you wish! Live music often adds to the overall experience, and once the band start playing and you get your perfect food/drinks, you will start loving this place.

It's all good at AllGood Cafe. The environment is is very "down home", just as the plates of food, which are huge and tasty. They've got an expansive menu for people to indulge in, with ingredients that are locally sourced. They've also got cute little decor, a decent amount of seating, a lovely patio, and natural lighting from huge windows – perfect for a classic breakfast/brunch. The sound system is decent and there's a good line of sight of the performer/band for the entire audience. Even if you don't spend too much time in Dallas, the food, the drinks, the laid-back ambiance, the concert posters, the nostalgia and the good prices might just make you come back for more.

Dallas Introduction Walking Tour
America's maverick city, Dallas is bigger, brasher, and glitzier than other cities and proud of it. In a mere five generations, what used to be a small group of primitive cabins on a muddy riverbank became a huge, sprawling metropolex of skyscrapers and modern offices that rise out of the prairie like a mirage, visible for miles.
