Primorsky Stage of Mariinsky Theatre, Vladivostok

The Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre is a modern performing arts complex in Vladivostok. Built for the APEC Summit in 2012, it sits on the hills overlooking the Sea of Japan and features a unique architectural design with a panoramic glass facade, making it a key tourist attraction in the Primorye region. Known for its diverse repertoire, excellent acoustics, and skilled performers, the Primorsky Stage is among the most visited theatres in Russia and the Asia-Pacific Region.

Since 2016, it has hosted the International Mariinsky Far East Festival, featuring opera, ballet, and instrumental music performances by top artists from around the world. The theatre includes three stages: the Great Hall, the Chamber Hall, and the Summer Terrace. The Great Hall, designed in a classical Italian horseshoe shape, seats up to 1356 people and is used for large-scale productions. It boasts modern stage facilities and excellent acoustics, which have been praised by many renowned musicians. The Chamber Hall, with 305 seats, hosts chamber opera performances and educational events. The Summer Terrace is used for open-air concerts and performances during the warmer months.
