Roma Street Parkland, Brisbane (must see)

Roma Street Parkland is a park in the center of Brisbane. It is made up of intricately designed flower gardens, green space, walking trails and public entertainment venues. There is a children's garden with a playground, a number of statues and a scenic lookout point.

The park is open to the public and free to use 24 hours per day. There are picnic spots and barbecue grills for those who want to dine outside, surrounded by nature. There are even areas where alcohol are permitted from 10 AM to 8 PM.

Special gardens abound at Roma Street Parkland. Each of these gardens focus on a different species or theme. Some of these include the Aloe Garden, Fig Tree Terrace, the Enchanted Garden, Banyan Lawn and the Sunset Glade.

Roma Street Parkland is home to the Moonlight Cinema Brisbane. This outdoor movie theatre is open during the summer months once the sun goes down. Visitors can rent bean beds or bring their own blankets to curl up on and watch the show.
