1) Belger Arts Centre

The Belger Arts Center (BAC) is a non-profit organization that houses a fine art collection as well as holding exhibitions of various art. The Center stages three exhibitions a year. Since 2000 the BAC has launched exhibitions of ceramics, painting, sculpture, digital photographic projections, black and white photography, and more. In addition to the exhibitions, the BAC houses the John and Maxine Belger Family Foundation collection, which includes more than 1,500 pieces of fine art, mainly from American artists of the late 20th century. Extensive holdings of works by Jasper Johns, William Christenberry, Renee Stout, Robert Stackhouse, Terry Winters, Terry Allen, and William Wiley allow the BAC to loan complete retrospectives of those artists to museums around the country.

2) Sherry Leedy Contemporary Art

Located in an old 1880s converted warehouse, the Sherry Leedy Contemporary Art is one of the most popular art spots in the Crossroads district. Established in 1985, the gallery boasts outrageously interesting, sometimes cutting edge, art, installations, paintings and photography by locally famous artists. The gallery's art space has always something to come and see.

Leedy-Voulkos Art Center

3) Leedy-Voulkos Art Center

The Leedy-Voulkos Art Center is next door to Sherry Leedy Art. The gallery was established in 1985 by Jim Leedy, evolving into a gallery that promotes local talents that has very good intuition in visual installations and sculpture. The gallery's facade is framed by two eye-catching anthropological sculptures, promising more surprises inside.

The Hillard Gallery is one of the oldest galleries in Kansas City. Founded in 1974, it initially was located at Country Club Plaza and just recently moved to the Crossroads District.
