City Centre Shopping Walk (Self Guided), Aberdeen

When you are in Aberdeen city center, a vast range of shopping opportunities are within very easy reach. All of the city's big shopping centers can be found here, and they are only a short walking distance from each other. Among them is Union Square, the newest and largest shopping center in Aberdeen, featuring well-known high street brands and upmarket shops. In addition to the numerous stores, cafés, restaurants and bars, it also hosts the city's largest cinema.

Another must-see on your shopping itinerary is the Academy, a large retail center situated in a converted Victorian school building. It features a wide selection of shopping brands, some of which are exclusive to Aberdeen. After shopping for designer brands, enjoy a cocktail in the Academy’s pleasant courtyard.

Other large malls include the Trinity Shopping Center and the Bon Accord & St Nicholas Shopping Centers. As well as these large and diverse retail spaces, there are the streets, which are lined with popular names.

Aberdeen's main thoroughfare is Union Street, a mile-long road filled with shops and restaurants from top to bottom. Some of the brands you will see here are Hugo Boss, Topshop and Waterstones. There is also a selection of upmarket shops.
