Inner Harbor Shopping Walk (Self Guided), Baltimore

Experience the many fascinating delights of the Baltimore waterfront when you go shopping at the Inner Harbor. This is the most popular tourist attraction in the city, and it's easy to see why.

First, there are gorgeous vistas across the harbor toward the old Domingo Sugar Factory as well as views of gleaming skyscrapers, such as the Maryland World Trade Center. Then there are the restaurants, promenade, pier and shops. One of the key shopping destinations for quality, variety and the occasional bargain is The Gallery. This is a four-story mall featuring nationally known and local stores.

Another good place for a shopping trip is Harborplace, an urban market with more than 160 shops. It is situated in the heart of the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Shop for food, clothes, sporting goods and much more. The shopping center is also the home of a Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium. Nearby are some of the Inner Harbor’s most famous attractions, including the Aquarium, the Maritime Museum and the Science Center.

Before, during or after your Inner Harbor shopping spree, treat yourself to a meal in a waterfront restaurant or café. While you are in the neighborhood, make a beeline for Power Plant Live. This is a dining and entertainment destination, encompassing bars, clubs, restaurants and music venues.
